Lynnette Ball McGee is an accomplished organist who enjoys an active career as a recitalist, teacher, collaborative musician, and conductor. Currently, Ms. McGee serves as the Director of Music and Organist of First Presbyterian Church in Fullerton, California, conducting the chancel choir, handbell choir, and coordinating the Friends of Music concert series. Under her baton, the Kirk Choir and orchestra have presented major works by Gabriel Fauré, Randol Bass, Antonio Vivaldi, and Giovanni Pergolesi.

As an organ recitalist, Ms. McGee has performed numerous concerts, including performances in France, Spain, Italy and England. She has been coached by world-renowned organists Daniel Roth, Francois Espinasse, Frédéric Blanc, Béatrice Pierot, and Yannick Merlin. Locally, Ms. McGee has performed for the American Guild of Organists, Redondo Beach Baroque Festival, Organ Alive National Conference, Biola University, California State University Fullerton, and numerous other west coast venues.

Ms. McGee is also at home as a collaborative organist. She has been featured as a guest artist at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall and with the Aliso Viejo Symphony, California Concert Artists, Voces Master Chorale, Southern California Brass Ensemble, Saddleback Master Chorale, Irvine Valley College orchestra, Concordia University Irvine choirs, and the Chapman University choirs and orchestra. Her collaborative work with organist Brenda King Durden may be heard on their compact disc recording, Double Fantasy: Organ Duets.

Ms. McGee earned her Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in Organ Performance from California State University, Fullerton, studying with Esther Jones. She graduated with highest honors and was named Outstanding Performer in Keyboard Studies. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi academic honor society and Pi Kappa Lambda music honor society. She is currently a DMA candidate in Organ Performance at Claremont Graduate University, studying organ with Dr. Carey Robertson. Other organ teachers have included Dr. Frances Nobert, Dr. Leslie Spelman, Dr. Burton Karson, and Leonard Smith.

Ms. McGee has held adjunct faculty and staff positions at California State University Fullerton, Concordia University Irvine, Biola University, and Irvine Valley College. She is an active member of the American Guild of Organists and the Music Teachers Association of California, through which her students have received numerous scholarships and awards.
