Lynnette Ball McGee is an accomplished organist who enjoys an active career as a recitalist, teacher, collaborative musician, and conductor.  She is on the organ faculty at California State University, Fullerton, and serves as the Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church, Fullerton, where she conducts the chancel and handbell choirs and is principal organist.

As an organ recitalist, Lynnette has performed numerous concerts, including performances for the American Guild of Organists, Redondo Beach Baroque Festival, and Organ Alive! National Conference, at venues including First Congregational Church in Los Angeles, United Church of Christ, Claremont, Emmanual Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, First United Methodist Church in Pasadena, and Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa. Internationally, she has performed in Paris at famed churches including St. Sulpice, St. Eustache, La Trinité, and St. Séverin, as well as the Basilica of Santa Maria del Coro in San Sebastian Spain, St. Martin in Pfaffenheim, France, and St. Bavo in Haarlam, Holland.  She has been coached by world-renowned organists Daniel Roth, Francois Espinasse, Frédéric Blanc, and Béatrice Piertot.

Her collaborative work includes performances with the Aliso Viejo Symphony, California Concert Artists, Voces Master Chorale, Southern California Brass Ensemble, Saddleback Master Chorale, Irvine Valley College orchestra and chorale, Concordia University Chorale, and the Chapman University choirs and orchestra.  She has also recorded a compact disc titled Double Fantasy: Organ Duets with organist Brenda King Durden.

Lynnette is currently completing her Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from Claremont Graduate University, where she was awarded the music department and Harsh fellowships. She earned a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance from California State University, Fullerton, graduating with highest honors, and was named Outstanding Performer in Keyboard Studies.  She was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Kappa Lambda honor societies for outstanding scholarship and highest level of musical achievement. Her organ teachers include Dr. Carey Robertson, Esther Jones, Dr. Frances Nobert, and Dr. Leslie Spelman. Lynnette is an active member of the American Guild of Organists and the Music Teachers Association of California, through which her students have received numerous scholarships and awards.
